Ken, I'm no expert, let me start with that. I'm a novice with limited knowledge of this game. But I'm learning fast. I have been watching this stock with an eagle eye since last January and was lucky enough to buy in down at the bottom of the spring slide. Not quite lucky enough to get it at 23 but not far above that. I learned about this stock from a good friend in Portland (Thanks, Jim) and have loved the highs and hated the lows of this wild ride since jumping on in March.

And here's what I know. I believe a wide spread is a fact of life for low volume stocks like RSYS. And I KNOW that Nasdaq has set a phase in plan to deal with this and I KNOW that RSYS was one of the stocks to be includend in round one of phase in-to have taken effect in late June. I think the 23rd, to be exact. We should not be seeing spreads above a 1/2 point. When we do I suspect some market maker is pushing his/her luck. Man, would I like to see someone nab that schmuck!

Relationship between price swings and spread? I'm a little shaky on this one becuase of inexperience, but here goes.... (you pros can straighten me out on this, OK?)

When Bid is a point below Ask and a 100 shares trades down, stock price goes down a point. And then if the Bid is lowered another point (isn't it the market makers determining the spread?) and another pissy little 100 shares trades down, you lose another point. But why doesn't it seem to work in the opposite direction? I have watched countelss times when trades in the 100's and even 1000's of shares go through on the up tick at the Ask and the price of the stock doesn't budge.

Lemme ask you this. You ever see RSYS go up 3 points on a day when ten thousand shares were traded? I doubt it. Now look back and ask yourself how many times RSYS has dropped it's price significantly on measley little days of 10, 30 and 50 thousand shares traded. Hmmmmmm???????

Great Company. Great products. Excellent track record with growth and earnings. Rather large short interest. Tiny little float. I hate to say it but I think this poor stock is gonna keep getting it's butt kicked and manipulated for some time to come.

Your thoughts?
