RE: "open 17 7/8" I didn't exactly predict it but people were laughing at my words when I said to look for the stock to open around 18. The strength shown in the rest of the day kind of surprised me but let me just state for the record that I stand firm on my "prediction" this stock will drift to lower teens in the next week to a half. There are a number of reasons for this phenomenon. First, lots of people have to sell due to year-end tax situation. Second, more people have to sell due to margin calls resulting from overall bad market. Third, and this is probably the biggest killer, institutions will have to adjust their portfolio for the end of the year and they will not hesitate to move from QNTM (which is not expected to recover within the next two quarters) into something much more attractive (given that there are a lot of good stocks at fire-sale prices). I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but stop being emotional. Get real and move onto something a lot more investment-worthy at this point. For ideas, send me a friendly e-mail.
