I could be wrong but I get the impression, you don't like the generally accepted definition mostly because it has an application in our own history.
You are wrong. I'm not objecting to the application of it to our own history.

Rather, I'm objecting to the cheapening of the term just to fit some political agenda.

I already explained how the term is being cheapened, and I'm not going to repeat myself.
