It has a lot more to do with many blacks see the NBA as one of their only shots at making it. So they work at it very hard.

That's an answer that begs the question. If the NBA wasn't so highly represented by black players, other black people wouldn't see the NBA as "one of their only shots at making it."

Besides, why not baseball?
