No, I am making a point - sugar drinks, for some people are more harmful that pot is to anyone.

There is a legitimate problem with sugar drink addiction, and it is a far more serious problem than is marijuana abuse, if marijuana were not illegal. That is a simple fact.

Now, I'd no sooner ban sugar than I would pot. But if you seriously want to discuss public health problems, sugar is, pot is not.

I wouldn't recommend anyone tell their kids that. But kids are not stupid; any kid can see that marijuana (were it legal) is a safer drug than alcohol. In pretty much every respect.

I just don't think you're being objective here. But make no mistake, this isn't about political ideology. Yes, many libertarians support legalization of drugs, period. I don't; I look at it objectively at the damage criminalization causes versus the damage the drug causes. That, to me, is the only sensible way to look at it.
