Eugene,
I only heard a little, but I think the jist of the decision
was that MSFT couldn't force its Internet Explorer product
on computer manufacturers licensed to use its Windows products.
It gives the licensees the right to package other browsers with
their computer software packages. IMHO it won't make much difference
to MSFT's bottom line since the MSIExplorer software is free
anyway. It just limits "forced" free distribution to the exclusion
of other browser options.

Please, correct me if I am wrong. I haven't been following this
issue that closely. I love MSIE40, great product, I like all MS
products, remember the prices we use to pay for software back in
the 80's. Those (high priced software) companies are all gone now.
Thank you Bill Gates, you have done mankind a huge service!

Well I'm off my Microsoft soapbox now, back to AMAT.
