nic: Because I am not a scientist, I have not followed the arguments of the scientists on both sides of the global warming issue as closely as I should have. Last week in the Wall St. Journal there was a big op-ed article by some scientist (I have no recollection of his credentials) who argued that the change in temperatures recorded this century are highly correlated with some measure of solar output, and showed a graph that looked convincing. In other words, greenhouse gases have had no effect at all, as yet. Did you happen to see that article? If so, is there anything to that argument? Thanks.
