A comment here. We just drove to California and listened to Brad Meltzer's The Inner Circle enroute. This book exaggerated a flaw in audio books, IMO. There were so many unnecessary and repetitive descriptions it bored us to death. Reading a book, once can skip over that nonsense and quickly get to the important stuff. I came away from that story thinking the protagonist was an idiot. Has anyone else had this experience?
