Of course, I don't agree. The GOP has its problems and those problems have been accelerating in the last 20 years. However, the Dems are not perfect. Not by a long shot. One thing I thought I could always count in with the Dems was to champion our Civil Liberties. In many way, the Dems were the biggest defenders of social and civil Libertarian ideals. Under Obama, I no longer believe the Dems are defending our Civil Rights. For example, Feinstein has been the staunchest supporter of the alphabet soup of spy and security organizations this country has. She also defended the Patriot Act and the FISA laws, along with Holder.

And then, all of the sudden, when the CIA spies on the Senate, now she's coming out with the accusations of the blatant violation of the Separation of Power, 4th Ammendment, and various other sacrosanct principles within the Constitution. Although, I 100% agree with her latest speech and statements, you have to say that all of this is a bit hypocritical on her part. Where were her complaints and support of American Citizens, when all of us were complaining of the violation of our Constitutional rights with the NSA spying on innocent civilians that is ongoing today? She seems to only care when the Senate is spied on. That's the Dem party for you. There is way too much defense of the incumbent party, just because they are Dem, instead of coldly looking at what they are doing and being vocal in our criticism. In Bush's second term, I was openly critical of him and then voted for Kerry. In Obama's second term, I am now openly critical of him. I make no distinction between parties and hold no ideologies. When something is wrong, I will call it out, regardless of party.
