Ted, in the Soviet era, ALL Ukrainians were Russians. Ukraine was PART of the Soviet Union. As I told you, a poll was done in Crimea, and it split 50/50 for Crimeans that wanted to be Russians, not Ukrainians. It's not OUR business. Let's just stay the hell AWAY from it!

I find it interesting that 77% of the Ukrainian population is Ukrainian and yet there is a poll that shows them evenly split over Russian annexation. Of course, that's not what the poll asks. That poll asked whether Ukrainians wanted to be affiliated with the EU or the Customs Union. Its not talking about annexation by Russia. If you ask Ukrainians if they wanted to be annexed by Russia, the results would be quite different. Trust.

And I ask again......what say you when/if Putin goes after the Baltics and/or Poland?
