In Britain and Australia crimes soared because the Govt sponsored crime as a kind of welfare program. Anybody found defending their homes was punished 10x the slap on the wrist any criminal got. In Britain it was especially nutso. In Australia, knife and sword crimes soared and they tried to ban swords there. Insanity.
