Apparently I made an assumption about you that you believe was not entirely correct. It is most common for liberals to be pro government education. In fact it appears you prefer the feds even control religious education. The purpose of local funding for education is that the greatest benefits are local and it puts control of education in the parents and their neighbors' hands. It also makes them aware that they are responsible. Government never seems to do anything correctly. Shifting funding responsibility to the federal government is asking for federal interference. The current Administration is tyrannical. Most Administrations wish they could get away with a tenth of the misdeeds that Obama has perpetrated.
