Epicure, I think you miss the point about the free phones. They are free and you clearly do qualify if on food stamps as I posted information on a few days ago. The funding for the phones comes from the Federal Universal Service Fund. ........Actually the confusion may come from the fact that there is more than one program for phones for the poor........ NOW, Mindswell (not right name but something like that) was wrong to pin the program on Obama. He was also dead wrong to blame Obama for acts of Bernanke. That damage started in the Bush term and the evil policies were the genius of the maestro Greenspan. But all the side misperceptions miss the point that Mindswell was trying to make and that is that there is a shrinking middle class. Clearly that is the case as has been championed even by Obama and democrats. As a country we need this discussion.
