I agree with you about parenting, incidentally. I read a lot of books when I was orienting myself to the process, and deciding what philosophy of nurturing made the most sense to me, but once you get your sea legs, or sense of direction, if you are loving and concerned and spend a lot of time with your children, you will be a great parent.
Alex is very thoughtful and considerate and conscientious, and, agreeing with you, I have always thought he would make a great parent. Of course, if he has little technical questions, there are a lot of experienced men and women here who would love to share their opinions with him.
You sound like a wonderful father yourself. I, too, am excitedly waiting for grandchildren, but I cannot hint too obviously or anything, because my daughter is only fourteen at the moment!!! It sounds like they will be coming more quickly for you, and you are lucky!!!!! |
