3/14/14 Contest update
It did hold up better than the broader market, but the Contest median still showed a tiny loss for the week. At Friday’s close, the Contest median was up 31.11% YTD (vs. up 31.73% YTD a week ago), while the Nasdaq Biotech Index was up 11.90% YTD (vs. up 14.35% YTD a week ago) and the Nasdaq Composite Index was up 1.65% YTD (vs. up 3.82% YTD a week ago).
Each of our Contest Top Three had a down week, with GUERL’s's portfolio, up 77.25% YTD, winding up in first place, GENE’s portfolio, up 76.30% YTD, remaining in second place and JB118’s portfolio, up 74.29% YTD, slipping to third place.
At Friday's close, all 46 Contest portfolios were still in the black and a remarkable 41 of the 46 continued to beat the NBI.
