..But just because we own the biggest most expensive gun in the neighborhood doesn't mean we should use it now, or whenever anyone on Earth is threatened, at US taxpayer expense, to ward off a threat to some remote locale

We can't get our Congress to repair our bridges

This seems an unfair assessment to American taxpayers to deal with internecine European misadventures
