But we see scientists, arrogant, intolerant, demanding the right to order society according to their whims, refusing to answer for their failed predictions or even to show their data to outsiders, wanting to silence critics and skeptics (see the scientists involved in global warming, or Paul Ehrlich and John Holdren who wanted to put sterilizing drugs in water supplies to control a mythical over-population danger, or militant atheists like Richard Dawkins who want to criminalize raising children in a religion or Neil deGrasse Tyson who wants an inquisition to demand scientists who believe in God answer for their heresy). |
