John, that's just it........I am not ideological and not terribly liberal. SI is messed up when it comes to the terms, liberalism and conservatism. I look very liberal only because so many on SI are hard right. It may seem to you that I am ideological but I make my calls based on the facts and on my own experiences...........not because Obama or some Dem says to think a particular way.

In the meantime, I get shit from both sides. Sioux Pal just got done telling me that I don't what I am talking about; that I am full of shit. Maybe there is one other person on the Obama thread that agrees with my position re. Putin and the Ukraine. The liberals are telling me I am off on this issue while the wingers on the FAMD thread are tongue tied and say little because their leaders haven't told them how to think on this particular topic.

I do my own thinking.........not what somebody or some ideology tells me to think.

I have gone more and more away from both parties at this point. Remember keep us all divided not talking to each other the plutocrats continue winning. They love stuff like Trayvon/Zimmerman or massive school shooting..

I wasn't in either party until Obama and I joined the Dem party only because I wanted to vote in the WA state caucus for Obama. Plutocrats? I think the term plutocrats is too restrictive. I think the US, like Russia, is ruled by oligarchs and they are deciding which way to move the country. For an example, I think its the TX oil oligarchs that got us into the war in Iraq. In my mind, the US is simply a slightly more democratic version than Russia.

You should listen to some Jesse Ventura videos. Would be curious where you disagree with him?

I can't......I just can't tolerate listening to him. I can't stomach the way he speaks. I agree with him on many of his issues but I take strong exception to his support of Ron and Rand Paul, whom I think are serious asshats. Ventura just doesn't do it for me.
