So they're calling it a history. That's nice. But there's a lot of magic in that history. Are they calling it the magical history of the Jewish people? Definitely not the way it was taken for thousands of years- and people were killed over those years, lots of people, for not agreeing, or believing. Now we can, in our liberality, pretend it is something it was not intended to be- but why not just start with a new and better book, not full of the mistakes and prejudices and stupidity of ancient humans, who were mind bogglingly cruel.
