Realistically, if Russia took over Ukraine [not just Crimea, which is a given], and China annexed Taiwan, along with Tibet, Hong Kong and whatnot islands, it wouldn't make any difference to nearly everyone. It would be restoring what once was, but without the Maoistic MADness or USSR totalitarianism. No biggie. There would not really be a need for World Wars III and IV. <But this should scare you more; Russia preparing to invade Ukraine IMHO>

Given the taunting by Victoria Nuland and Barack, it would be undignified for Putin to not array his army along the border of Ukraine and to annex Crimea in response. If USA wants to play geopolitical shenanigans, then it's not surprising that Russia, so much closer, would like to play too.

The USA gets a bit tiresome with the NSA and sense of self-dealing entitlement.
