Putting aside all propaganda (on both sides) and cheap patriotism, I see no good reason why Crimea shouldn't be returned to Russian control if that's what the people want. USA seems to think that there is something holy about the Ukrainian constitution. What a joke that is when you see how the US Gov't treats its own Constitution.

As for the ramifications of Crimea being annexed by Russia, I see nothing more than a few token sanctions by the West. After all, if the sanctions were serious enough, it would likely damage the economies of Western Europe.

From a financial market perspective, I expect that this crisis will soon most likely blow over. But one can never be sure with a Fascist Totalitarian Pig Like Obama.
