I believe they claim he wasn't covered. He claimed he enrolled, they claim he isn't. You apparently don't believe there are enrollment problems. They do exist. I cannot be as certain as you that the man didn't enroll.

However, it has been my opinion from the start that people confronted with such large bills are better off declaring bankruptcy. Truly there is a hardship here. He should join the millions of Medicaid people.
