I agree Jeff. We actually don't have many facts and a fire is only speculation as well. A swift reduction in cabin pressure certainly could have took out the passengers swiftly at 45k alt.

The plane may be at the bottom of the ocean or in some remarkable and remote airstrip. I don't believe people keep secrets very well. I do think if it did crash in the ocean there would be some debris, bodies, seats etc out there.
