To me, this announcement has more importance than it seems.
On one hand, bringing on an advisor such as Dr. Chalil means that they are actively pursuing a professional approach to the development of GTM strategies on all fronts - channel development, partnerships, brand development and sales strategies in the marketplace. Not so directly apparent is the fact that Dr. Chalil has accepted the position on the SAB. This tells me that the good doctor is actively managing his own personal brand in the field. The fact that he is coming on board is indicative that the company has a viable product and that they demand a viable position in their respective markets. Very nice news.
