The headline in the New York Times reads like a punchline: “Biden Arrives in Europe to Reassure Allies.”

Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. arrived here Tuesday for a lightning visit to reassure Poland and the Baltic states that the United States will protect them from any Russian aggression similar to the actions it has taken in Crimea.

Biden the gaffe machine. Will he utter any Polish jokes? [ Well hell yeah, it's Biden, he won't be able to resist. The only question is whether the media will report it. ] Does anyone take this man seriously?

Meanwhile, Michelle Obama departs tomorrow for China, the other major power player.

Secretary of State John Kerry is no better, a bloviating poseur.

What I need to know is where is Valerie Jarrett? As frightening as it ought to be, she is the real power player and has the most testicular fortitude of the entire Obama A Team.

And don’t forget, President Obama has pressing business to attend to: His March Madness brackets.
