Agreed. Good read: amazon.com One of the sections discusses the evolution of democracy and why both parties revert to the middle and, basically, assume the same position. The author suggests it (modern democracy) to be like a cul de sec in a very nice neighborhoor. Nice to look at from a distance, nice to travel down but leads to nowhere... lol Guess, time will tell.
