Salty, perspective, please. I think, yes, this market may be too high and some stocks are overpriced, but compared to 1999-early 2000 and even some of the stuff that went on in the summer of 2007, the current market is flatlined. What does trouble me is our favorite group. I don't know if we are at the "handwriting on the wall" stage, but the greens are relentless. They have mau-maued institutions into disposing of O&G stocks and now are asking management of XOM if their assets will be worth much if emissions targets are met in the future. We have to live and invest in the world as it is, not as we would like it to be. The fact that jerks like no starch can beat the socks off O&G stocks with subsidized, tax credited solar crap is shameful, but maybe it is a portent of a different future.
