Because subjective reason can be interpreted many ways. And a lot of it is just plain old nonsense dressed up to look smart.

Show it to a 100 people and you will get a 200 interpretations. You don't know that?

And it is used to convince people of things that are not true.

Hard empirical evidence is interpreted by everyone exactly the same way .

The ancient Greeks math is the same math today.

There is no hard evidence because there is nothing there. Religion is a myth. Like unicorns and elves.
