They hate him for his isolationist thinking and they hate him for his social Libertarianism (maybe that should be with a small "l") . Paul is further from being a Neocon than Hillary is for sure. (Like Bentway says it will be interesting to see if he changes to get the nomination). Paul also stands alone among the candidates in being against the snooping NSA wiretapping as Obama and Bush were pretty much on the same side of this. .........Look, this is not now your typical republican. He is NOT trying to push his morality down your throat - AND he is NOT trying to do nation building. ........If he is power hungry his ideology may change and swing more inline with mainstream republicans. I would likely then find him unacceptable.
