Jeff, I agree that not all of Neitzche is worth remembering, but he has some jewels. How about this one by Hegel. "History teaches that a man does not learn from history". This ought to be appropos the present situation. BTW, the upturn in technology might be faster than we think because of rapid technological innovation . However, if this market goes down very low, some of the present players may go bancrupt and there may be some new leaders with NEW technology that will blossom. Hence patience and careful study is in order. Cheers, Seppo
