I have clients up in Darrington. I have been over that roadway many times on my way up there. The County never should have allowed development of those lots along the north fork of the Stillaquamish River. This disaster was foreseeable. The same area slid in 2006. I defended the state in a similar case on the Quilcene River back in 1968.
