Yeah, if you find gold, THAT property is worth a lot, but the guy next door may see HIS property value suddenly drop to practically nothing if they destroy the local ground water in mining the gold.

That's what we're seeing too much of with "fracking".

I'm not against fracking, I'm just against doing it in such a way that destroys all the land in the area.
