I find it very interesting that you post some decent facts about Intels

Asian exposure after we heard a month of balony on this thread about how Intel was protected from it.

If this thread is going to have some use to investors we have to have more such information.

I still don't think we have gotten any decent opinions from all of the obvious former or current Intel employees here about when they are likely to preannounce if they do.

Gene did say that they normally do not preannounce if within 5% of projections. Its obvious to me that the short term downside risk is a funcntion of whether they are going to eventually join ORCL to our surprise and grief.

Watching the Korean situation, remember that the election there is the 18th. IF this blows up Intel will sink and then recover. People fled to IBM in the old days the day after a major crash. However whether people see Intel as a safe harbor will be a function of their Asian exposure and the overall state of their valuation.

I wish somebody here could tell me what they think this stock is worth and back it up with something more that how many gates are o nthe head of a pin.
