How do you know that? Where's your empirical scientific evidence for any historical event? You have a double standard for events you want to be true and events you don't want to believe. Very handy that.

Human societies of every stripe have always used capital punishment for various behaviours that they considered criminal and serious enough to warrant death. So does that mean God does not exist? I don't see how that follows logically at all.
