No and I'm sure you could ban me from SI if you wanted to find a reason. However, if you apply the same standards to all, then Solon is at least as guilty if not more than most. He and I have been going at it pretty hard. I admit I have played a part and I don't blame him for my lack of self control. If you want to censure me, that is your prerogative. I trust you will do so fairly and publicly. Of course I would prefer that you did not, but you are the one who determines that. I know you don't want to be the thought police, that is clear by the latitude you give people and the generousity with which you apply the TOU.
As you can probably tell I am one of very few, if not the only, Christian on a thread designed to stick it in the eye of the God of the bible. I am not afraid of a fair, even heated dialogue but I get piled on around here all the time. As long as the guidelines are clear and applied to all, I will live within the limits of them.
I do draw the line at having my personal physical wellbeing threatened as Solon did and having people posting personal information about me and then intimating that they might pay me a visit, as Average Joe did. I know you do to and I thank you for it. |
