It seems the AOL poster whose comments I transfered here yesterday found out that his statements were disbelieved, and he is quite indignant about it. He talked to Cal again today, and is willing to give his name, time of the call etc, via e-mail to those who doubt.
There was another post today, from a man I can personally vouch for in terms of his integrity, as I've been in private contact with him for some time now. His post follows. Incidentally, with the lack of official information coming from the company, if we are to provide some kind of proof (whatever that might be?) each time we learn something by talking to company officials, as a few individuals seem to suggest, then I'm afraid that the only thing we'll see on this thread is discussion about how much the stock went up or down today. We don't need to read the posts to know that. There'd be no more interesting updates from FMK, Mooter, and others!

I also talked to Cal today at around 4:45 eastern.
I asked him the following:
Is the battery marketable ? answer - yes
Is it ready for production ? answer - it is being tested by OEM's, some are doing real good and some not so good but it is just a matter of fine tuning.
Would you say that you are in the final stage in research and development ? answer - yes
in general the battery is working very well.
Do you think that the battery will be ready by at least Q1 98 or Q2 98 ? answer - yes, there are problems in working out the kinks in the new machinery but he thinks it just a matter of time.
Were you fired? answer - no, I resigned and will be availble to the company for consultation if they need me.
Is Lev Dawson mainly a marketeer? answer - yes
Do you think everything is basically on track? answer -yes
He answered all of my questions without hesitation and he stated that he returns all his calls and email as soon as he can.
My conclusion is that this company is still in R&D but is on track in producing a marketable product. As to when this will happen, we will have to wait for the announcements.
This is a speculative company and I would treat it as such. In the mean time, if you are savy, you might make some good money on these fluctuating prices.
