I like the restraint. It's not our business getting involved in the former Soviet Union's satellite states.

But I don't like the way Obama is handling it. He has no clue about the reality of foreign policy. He thinks he can apply an academic approach to the situation, and that our military strength is counterproductive because it needlessly antagonizes our adversaries.

What I would have him do is start expanding NATO and have them draw lines in the dirt. Economic sanctions are good, but I would prefer something more than what we have at the moment. Maybe even send some naval vessels into the region, just to give our sailors a "tour" of the region.

Think the "great slayer of Osama bin Laden" is strong enough to rattle the saber a bit? I doubt it.
