You were informed her mother & family members were all very much aware of what happened to her, yet you evaded that information, then inserted your own twisted muggled rewrite. Her mother was completely saddened for the damage caused to her life so you should put that phony moralizing to bed. It was out of religiously induced blind fear and forced marriage that deprived of a future she truely deserved. Not whisked off to some god forsaken, black hole in Texas,with depraved idiots that were probably second cousins of yours running around.
(You were also told that her mother apologized to me, admitted regret to have not allowed my proposal for us sharing an apt & going to school together. That was based on love, long friendship and pure & utilitarian motives, like sharing laundry chores, rent, cooking & help with studies.
