I have no idea but I doubt because he was a very honest man that didn't take big risks. He invested in utility companies that paid dividends and nothing else. I can't imagine him taking bribes. That would be totally out of character. In fact in WWII, as a Captain in the Army, he ruined his career by refusing to go along with a diversion of Chaplain funds for recreational purposes. Another thing he did was defend a man that they wanted to make an example of, was able to prove him innocent. In the end his career for promotions after this were ended. I however cannot prove you wrong.
