Calif. school ‘apologizes’ for feminism prof’s alleged attack on teenage pro-lifer foxnews.com The attack was just a feminist studies professor forcibly grabbing the protest sign and taking it away, while the student was protesting in the "free speech zone". Which brings to mind two other points. 1 - Feminist studies, at least as more than a tiny niche with very few people, strikes me as a relatively dubious subject (studying the history of feminism as part of history, or feminist literature as part of literature not so much, but does it really need its own major?), and 2 - Free speech isn't really free if its limited to zones.
