Does that include Ishmael and Esau? Why shouldn't it? Genesis does record that Ishmael's life was preserved after he and his mother were sent away and he was promised a blessing. Not the same as Isaac's but a blessing nonetheless: Genesis 21:13 "And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed. "

If you think God will break the promises he made in Genesis, how do you trust him to keep his promises to you?
