And also to be fair to PT, the fact is, NXTL is still losing
about 1.80 per share. Close to 40 percent more of the market
still has to be built out before it really is a national network.
Users still are unable to get dial tones in many areas. PT is
voicing the concerns that many have regarding when they will
actually make money. And it has been a relatively quiet
situation given the assets they do have. Building out a national
wireless network is a weighty task. Throughout much of the
world, though, the first telephone systems will be wireless.
It's a little bit more cost-effective than wire-line, especially
over the long term.
