Financial turmoil generally presents more opportunity for the speculator than more stable times. Wealth changes hands extensively.

But the dislocation is painful for many. And resulting social unrest (which I do expect) serves no one.

I have no doubt that things will get worse than is generally accepted now. The markets are in denial.

In Japan....the bubble's bursting.

In Europe...unemployment is so high in regions that social unrest is threatened.

In the Pacific Rim...currency is becoming worthless.

And the U.S won't fare well in a world with no money left to borrow.
