Ron,

My 2 cents on AMAT is that it is a FLAMING BUY right now, even if it may drop a little more. AMAT has pretty much completed it's standard 60% correction, so any decision to buy at these levels will be appreciated when it is near $100 again at the end of 1999.

If it wasn't for the fact that SMTC & THQI show up so clear as the majority in my small portfolio, you would see AMAT back there in the corner as the third and final core holding for this kid. By the way, the investors who lost their profits in tech issues only did so because they chose to sell, rather than just weather the storm that provided them with another BUYING opportunity.

Regards, JB

Todd: The wording of the split has me baffled, thank you for clarifying the matter.
John: I appreciate your input on decision to sell, I now fully understand the issue.
