DRAM (16mb) $3 (when WON was at 1100 to 1 USD)

Chip set (from VIA, 4 chips) $25

So conservatively speaking, for the worst case, the cost of sub $1000 should not be over
$700

Someone on this thread said the profit of sub $1000 is only 4%, which is $40. I do not think so !!!!
