the Argentine president is no less a hypocrite. After the first round of offshore drilling didn't pan out, Britain quietly offered to give the Falklands to Argentina. The response by Argentina was that the Falklands are a liability and they wanted to be paid to take them. Needless to say, Britain balked at that notion;-)....now that the oil industry is back, giving hope to the British and Argentine gov'ts of some future resource tax and royalty revenues, they both have again pressed their claims......
