"Desirable" need not be just long-established companies, Totally agree, but I haven't seen the next Instagram or Clumsy Ninja or Clash of Clans come out on Android first either. but I gave a couple examples where established ones were released on Android first. Sonos and Dropbox updates are your examples? Don't mean to nitpick, but neither seems to represent a shift in developer attention to me. Sonos 5 is a closed beta that would not fly in either the Play Store or the App Store ( Facebook also has a beta program for Android, but not iOS). As for Dropbox, I'm not sure which update you are referring to. Dropbox for iOS was last updated last week. If there's a newer version for Android, I haven't heard. Historically, Dropbox has been very supportive of iPhone, launching 2 years before their android app. Moreover I didn't think app updates really make the case either way.
