It is those rural regressive very red districts but they don't control TX, FL, GA, VA or NC with large urban populations where that crazy talk is probably as uncommon as a big city out west.

Really.............GA just passed the most liberal gun law in the country..........you can carry guns anywhere in any place in the state including schools and hospitals. In NC, they have passed all kinds of very conservative legislation esp restricting early voting which most benefits the lower classes since Obama won the state in 2008. In my mind a purple TX, a purple NC, a purple GA and a purple FL are myths. Only VA is truly purple now thanks to the District's fast growing suburbs.
