i am new to watching this stock...why is it so thinly traded. i would imagine that u.s. funds would buy this quite often. was it once a favorite and then fall away from that status, or just does no one really buy this. obviously from the annual sales of this company, it has been around for a while and is not small, so the lack of trading can not be due to any lack of awareness. p.s. i read an article in wsj.com this morning that stated that last month (perhaps october) worldwide semiconductor sales were up 12-13 percent and the strongest market was in europe. i would imagine that bodes well for stm!
