where I am you can get a 2000+ft2 home pus a couple acres for maybe $300K........ I can be in the city in about 80 minutes..................yet had a flock of turkeys strut thru the yard the other day.

You can get that here to as long as you live in the central valley and don't mind the additional hour each way during commute times. Turkeys aplenty as well.
